Awaken 2012
Twenty-one days of prayer
and heart preparation for Revival

Will you commit to a special time of prayer each day for the first 21 days of 2012? I am asking you to join your church family and myself as we pray and, perhaps fast, for revival in our lives, our church, and our nation.
On Jan. 22 we will gather for a different kind of worship experience. You might call it a “solemn assembly” before God. It will be a day of repentance, praise, refreshing, and healing. But this will only be a reality if we have, in fact, sought God together in prayer.
Claude King, co-author of “Experiencing God” and a spiritual awakening specialist, will be here to lead us in this time of worship. Mark that date on your calendar and plan to be here.
Let’s ask God to bring us to an “awakening” as we begin 2012.

Are there times when it seems that you have no direction in life?
 Jesus said “I am the Way.”
Does a world that is constantly changing and a culture that says there are no absolutes leave you wondering what is real and what will last?
 Jesus said “I am the Truth”
Does it seem like day after day you are just merely existing with no vitality or purpose?
 Jesus said “I am the Life.”

   At First Baptist Church, Orange Beach we are a fellowship of followers of Jesus Christ.  Wherever you are on your journey we would like for you to join us.  As we worship Him, learn more about Him, strive to make Him known to others, develop meaningful friendships and minister to one another there is a place for you here.

      We believe Jesus has made an eternal difference in our lives.  As we follow Him it is our desire to be “making a difference” in the lives of people we meet by helping them find direction, stability and meaning for life in Jesus Christ.

    the truth and the life...”
